National Sports Day
What are your plans like for the Colunbus Day weekend?
Lately, I did remember “National Sports Day” on the second Monday of October, which is one of national holidays in Japan
【The day was originally set up to commemorate the opening ceremony of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.】
Most of schools and communities hold athletic festivals on that day.
National Sports Day always reminds me of colorful headbands like red, white, yellow & blue for racing.
