Fashion often has a deep connection with music, like Vivienne Westwood and Sex pistols or Kansai Yamamoto and David Bowie. One of our store's favorite brands, Christopher Nemeth also has a little-know connection with music. In the music video of Soul II Soul's hit song "Back to Life", look carefully at what the members were wearing! Jazzie B, one of the original members from 1988, told i-D Magazine that he was "a fan of Christopher Nemeth".

Hidden 80's Hero, Jurgen Lehl!!
Do you know about Comme des Garcons, or Yohji Yamamoto? I guess you know about them, but do you know Jurgen Lehl? He was also big in 80's. He is the one who started to use natural materials for fashion before others. He is a German designer who was born in Poland. He was a textile designer in Paris and NY before he started his brand in Japan in 1971. Mass production was the mainstream in fashion industry at that time. However, he appreciated and went back to the hand crafted fashion production to go against the current of the time. He was great, but not many people know about him as other famous designer. He died in 2014.If you are fashion lover, it 's good to try his clothing. His design have both of comfort and great design. About Glamour has some of his design. you should come and try them.

The striped shirts were originally the naval sailor's uniform, designed to help distinguish the sailors from the waves, so you could find them more easily when they fell overboard. In 1917, Coco Chanel designed stripe shirts for her collection, and it become a fashion item. In 1950's and 60's, many actresses and actors started to wear stripe shirts in movies, and it became a big wave in fashion.
